My name is Melissa Shelley. I’ve lived in Western Michigan my whole life. I’ve been married to Hap for almost 10 years and we have 2 beautiful children (Bryce and Ainslie). I am blessed to be able to work from home around the important things in my life.  

I used to work in IT before we had children. I was laid off years ago and we decided to start a family. I have been a stay at home mom ever since. I was looking for something to do from home once my oldest was in school. I’ve had health issues my entire adult life so in addition to searching for something I could do from home I was also searching for something I could be passionate about. Motivated Moms has truly been a blessing to me and my family and I am so thankful I made the decision to work from home with the Motivated Moms team. Being a Motivated Mom has allowed me to grow and step out of my comfort zone. I have a renewed sense of purpose outside of being mommy. I’ve realized that I can have dreams and goals and now I have a road map to achieve while still being here for my children.

Motivated Moms is a team of 1000s of moms and a few dads who are dedicated to helping others.  We are partnered with an established and award winning health and wellness company.  It’s refreshing that we do not sell, stock or deliver any products like many other home businesses.  We share information and teach others about safe alternatives that protect their family from the harsh chemicals found in so many everyday products.  Our team offers you FREE training, support and a professionally designed website. 

I always knew there were hidden dangers in our every day household products. There are hidden dangers everywhere but I never knew I had a choice until I became involved with this company. There are so many dangers we have no control over, and I am passionate about helping other moms have control over their homes and what products they use in them. Helping them to realize they do have a better choice, a safer choice that will clean up the indoors and help them “go green” at the same time. To have the peace of mind knowing that their children are safe from the damaging effects of products they thought were safe; to live a healthier life.
